She finds and rescues about 3-4 sloths weekly, and she helps them in her own house before releasing them into the wilds unless they are hurt and require more of her attention.

Few years ago, there was some land scheduled to be cleared and she thought she'll end up with 10-15 sloths on her hands. Instead, she got 200 of them. In her own interview with Conservation International, she said that she became “slothified” – overwhelmed by sloths.

She has no regrets, and this picture pretty much sums up why. Imagine walking to your kitchen and seeing these adorable guys just hanging around.

She also became an advocate for sloth themed park in her home town. She thinks it will be irresistible place for tourists, or even locals to sit around, drink coffee and share some stories.
